What is Competency-Based Education (CBE)?
Competency-Based Education (CBE) or competency-based learning is an educational framework that measures student’s acquired knowledge by testing their performance in various pre-determined “competencies”. This set of competencies is often called the “competency architecture”. Competency-based education helps students gain mastery by providing specific assessments and individualized student feedback.
