What is the Internet of things?

Internet of things refers to the network of interconnected everyday objects like fridges, TVs, and smartphones. This connectivity allows for the exchange of useful data generated by these devices, interconnection of everyday objects with the Internet. This interconnection allows the exchange of relevant data generated by the devices, making daily life easier. An example of the internet of things affecting education is a program in which a student can learn a new language by touching various interconnected devices which can speak or display their name in that language.
