Blackboard Learn (used to be known as Blackboard Learning Management System) consists of a virtual learning environment and learning management system created by Blackboard Inc.
This network-based server software includes various features such as course guidance, tailor-made architecture, and extensible design that favors integration with both customizable and scholar information systems.
Blackboard can be equipped both on local servers or hosted on Blackboard ASP Solutions. Blackboard’s goal is to introduce different online learning elements into conventional in-site lessons and to create courses that are solely online courses with little to no face-to-face meetings.
